Alice M. "Ally" Milligan of rural Burwell, Nebraska passed away unexpectedly at the age of 55.

Ally was born October 19, 1969, in Marion, Ohio where she was raised by Frederick E. & Carolyn A. (Dye) Milligan.

Ally attended Marion Harding High School where she was involved in the Marion Cadets as a drummer, Marion Harding High School Marching Band and Marion Harding Singers, and graduated in 1988. Following graduation Ally joined the United States Army.

Ally met the love of her life, Erin McGovern, over 20 years ago.  They were married on July 27, 2019, in Burwell, Nebraska. They were two peas in a pod and did everything together. Ally and Erin shared their love of their land, animals, family and friends.  They enjoyed being on their land and watching the sunrises, sunsets and storms rolling in.

Ally was passionate about volunteering, helping others and giving back to their community. Ally was funny and loved a good joke and pulling pranks.  She will be remembered by her infectious laugh and smile.  Ally enjoyed her family and friends, especially her nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. She blessed many people and shared her smile to all; she will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her sister, Julia (David) Rosenberger; her nieces and nephews, Jacob, Joseph, Haley, Kathryn, Gabrielle and David; great nieces and great nephews, Alexis, Jaylen, Jackson and Jameson; cousins, Erin S., Kimmy Jo, Craig, Greg, Lavonne and Aaron; Aunt Sandy and many more family and friends.

She was preceded in death by Erin McGovern, Frederick and Carolyn Milligan, Clair and Arvada Dye.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Ohio.
