Johnny G. Jacobs passed away on September 9, 2025, at the age of 71, while residing at Arbor Care Center in Ord, Nebraska.

Johnny Glen was born February 26, 1954, at Hindman, Kentucky to Hubert and Clara (Slone) Jacobs. The family settled in Burwell, Nebraska where Johnny grew up and received his education, graduating from Burwell High School.

Johnny spent most of his life in Burwell where he worked for the City of Burwell in the utilities department. Johnny married Sharon "Corky" Frye; the couple enjoyed rock hunting together.

In his later years, Johnny resided in Burwell and Ord.

Survivors include a sister, Thelma Newbury and brother, Willard Jacobs, both of Burwell, Nebraska.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, "Corky"; and a host of siblings and relatives.

Johnny's wishes were to be cremated.  There will not be a service held.
