Marcella Fay Lytle of Burwell, Nebraska passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025, at the Community Memorial Health Center in Burwell at the age of 89.

Marcella Fay was born January 25, 1936, at Burwell, Nebraska to DT Wayne and Edna Viola (McGill) Lytle. She was raised south of Burwell where she attended country school.

The family moved into Burwell when Marcella was a teenager. Marcella and her mother had a housekeeping and cleaning business in the Burwell area. Following her mother's passing, Marcella moved to the Plaza. She later moved into the assisted living center after suffering a knee injury, then later became a resident of the nursing home.

Marcella enjoyed crocheting and quilting. She made many doylies, quilts, a beautiful bedspread and tablecloth.

Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Jerel and Carol Lytle; nieces and nephews, Karen (Bob) Turek, Kayla (Mike) Miller, Dave (Lisa) Lech, Dean (Nicole) Lech and Jeff (Janelle Clark) Lytle; and her sister Charlotte's significant other, Donald Nau.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Charlotte Lech.

Graveside Funeral Services and Interment will be at the Cottonwood Cemetery in Burwell, Nebraska on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held at Still Waters Funeral Parlor on Tuesday beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time.

Memorials are suggested to the Community Memorial Health Center.
