Rodney Allen Bridges, 82, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at CHI St. Francis Health Center in Grand Island.

Rodney was born November 24, 1941, at Battle Creek, Nebraska to Ray Bud and Norma Olivia (Wisch) Bridges. He was raised in Battle Creek where he also received his education.

Rodney served in the United States Army from August of 1959 to February of 1960. Following the service he returned home. He spent his work years at MoorMan's Feed as a traffic manager.

Rodney enjoyed big game hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his two daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Gary Egger and Sheri and Randy Tucker; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Bonnie and Ron Nielsen and Beth and Larry Nicolay; and two stepchildren, Shari and Chad Jansen and Shawn and Michelle Blahak.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a grandson, Dillon Egger.

Mr. Bridges' wishes were to be cremated. Private Inurnment will be held in Battle Creek Lutheran Cemetery.
